ΔΙΕΡΕΥΝΗΣΗ ΜΕΤΑΓΝΩΣΤΙΚΩΝ ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΩΝ ΚΑΤΑ ΤΗΝ ΕΠΙΛΥΣΗ ΜΑΘΗΜΑΤΙΚΩΝ ΠΡΟΒΛΗΜΑΤΩΝ ΣΕ ΜΑΘΗΤΕΣ ΗΛΙΚΙΑΣ 10 – 11 ΕΤΩΝ

Abstract

Η παρούσα διατριβή διερεύνησε τις μεταγνωστικές λειτουργίες ελέγχου και παρακολούθησης μαθητών ηλικίας 10-11 ετών κατά την επίλυση διαφορετικών τύπων μαθηματικού προβλήματος.Για την υλοποίηση του σκοπού της έρευνας πραγματοποιήθηκε έρευνα στην Ε΄ τάξη το σχολικό έτος 2009 – 2010. Για τη συλλογή των δεδομένων χρησιμοποιήθηκε η μέθοδος της «φωναχτής σκέψης», ενώ οι λεκτικές αναφορές των μαθητών αναλύθηκαν με το ερωτηματολόγιο MAI των Schraw and Dennison (1994) και το εργαλείο των Goos and Galbraith (1996). Τα συμπεράσματα που προέκυψαν είναι:1) Η ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων των ανοιχτού τύπου, των αυθεντικών και των σύνθετων προβλημάτων όταν οι μαθητές εργάζονται ατομικά, έδειξε ότι οι μαθητές της συγκεκριμένης ηλικίας αναπτύσσουν αυθόρμητα μεταγνωστικές πράξεις ελέγχου και παρακολούθησης.2) Η ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων των ανοιχτού τύπου, των αυθεντικών και των σύνθετων προβλημάτων όταν οι μαθητές εργάζονται σε μικρές ομάδες, έδειξε ότι οι μαθητές της συγκεκριμένης ηλικίας αναπτύσσουν αυθόρμητα μεταγνωστικές πράξεις ελέγχου και παρακολούθησης.Τέλος παρουσιάζεται το πώς αυτή η ικανότητα των μαθητών μπορεί να αξιοποιηθεί στον εκπαιδευτικό σχεδιασμό για τη διδασκαλία των μαθηματικών.

This dissertation attempted to investigate the spontaneous appearance of the metacognitive functions of monitoring and control in fifth grade students working individually and in pairs. For the implementation of this research study the data were collected by the “think aloud” method and were analyzed by the MAI questionnaire, developed by Schraw and Dennison (1994) and the tool developed by Goos and Galbraith (1996). The findings from this study are:1) The analysis of the results of the open ended, authentic and complex problems indicated that the students of this age when they work individually they appear spontaneous metacognitive functions of control and monitoring. 2) The analysis of the results of the open ended, authentic and complex problems indicated that the students of this age when they work in small groups of two they appear spontaneous metacognitive functions of control and monitoring. Finally, this ability of the students to appear spontaneous metacognitive functions of control and monitoring can be used to the educational planning of the teaching of mathematics.
